Tsukasa Kasuga (春日 つかさ Kasuga Tsukasa) is a character in Tokimeki Memorial Only Love.

Profile[]

Tsukasa is a second-year student at class 2-B who is a highly skilled member of the school's volleyball team/club. She is a believer in destiny, and falls in love with Riku Aoba almost immediately after bumping into him one day, declaring that Riku is her boyfriend from that point on.

Personality[]

Tsukasa is a cheerful, energetic and sporty girl who is a believer in destiny and falls in love with Riku Aoba almost immediately after bumping into him one day in school, which sparks the start of her attempt to make him his boyfriend. She's also someone with alot of determination, shown when she works on improving her relationship with Riku, and improving her own cooking skills. As well as spending alot of time practicing volleyball, rarely missing a practice. She's also competitive with Mina. Tsukasa is someone who's normally open about her feelings and is affectionate.

Biography[]

Ever since Tsukasa met Riku Aoba, she can basically be seen everywhere with him except for the time when classes are in session. She tries to act as his girlfriend, making bento for him and trying her best to make him happy. But she always ends up ignoring his feelings until recently when she discover this flaw of his as well as the others who are in love with Riku: Sayuri Amamiya and Mina Yayoi.

She then gives her best to be with Riku and tries to develop a relationship with him so deep that no one else can break them apart. She tried going to the beach with him alone but that backfired when everyone in Riku's class (teachers included) strangely appear on the same beachhead. When Yukari Higashino proclaimed that she likes Riku and wants him to be her boyfriend, Tsukasa, together with Mina, decides to fight for him. During the Cultural Festival, she did spend some time with him. But Riku seems to be uninterested in enjoying the event in school with him, perhaps because he is too tired as one of its planners or he is completely disappointed by the fact that he has missed Sayuri's play. During the school trip, even though she is sick, she thinks of this as a good opportunity to be with Riku and spend time with him, thus forcing herself to go along with with the school trip. In the end, she collapsed right in front of Riku, scaring the wits out of him. Fortunately, Riku is simply glad that she is alright. She's shown to be a romantic, wanting to make memories with Riku during the trip to Hokkaido and treasuring a souvenier they picked out together.

On New Year's Day, Tsukasa came to his house to accompany him and is joined by two other girls. On Valentine's Day, she manages to give her chocolates to him and when she heard about him being transferred out of their school soon, she is able to gather her courage and confess to him. She receives his answer at the first time they met, in front of the water fountain erected with four dolphin statues.

Ayame Shiina is one of her colleagues in the volleyball team who is the first to discover her interest in Riku while Hiromi Otama is the captain of the School Volleyball Team/Club and her upperclassman. Tsukasa become the captain of the volleyball team after Hiromi graduated.

  • The name Tsukasa is written in hiragana (つかさ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (司, 官, 宰, 士, 吏, 主, 典, 束, 司紗, 司沙, 束早, 津香紗 or 都加沙), it could possibly mean:

  • Tsukasa's surname Kasuga means "spring" (春) (ka) and "sun, day" (日) (suka/suga).

Trivia[]

  • Tsukasa's height is 157 cm (5 ft 2 in) while her weight: 45kg
  • Tsukasa is a bad cook, but she successfully changes this by learning from the home economics teacher.
    • However, she skips several of the classes afterwards and her cooking becomes terrible again.
    • She seems to have resumed the lessons, as the food she prepared during New Years was complimented.
    • She also learned how to make chocolate from the teacher.
  • Since meeting him, she's only ever called Riku by his first name, unlike most characters who call him Aoba.
